abby tennant

Speech Pathologist

​

Abby completed her Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Melbourne. Prior to this, Abby completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University.


Abby has experience working as a private tutor, supporting the academic goals of secondary school-aged students and started working at Beyond Speech as a Therapy Assistant during her studies. 


Abby has experience working with both children and adult clients in a range of settings and has a particular interest in speech sound development, fluency, and swallowing management. She is passionate about supporting clients to reach their full potential and watching their confidence grow.

Abby takes a neurodiversity-affirming approach to care, and her warm and calming nature allows her clients to feel at ease during assessments and therapy.

Outside of the clinic, Abby can be found outdoors on a hike or indoors with a good book, a hot beverage, and her cat Bonnie.


Abby is trained in Key Word Sign and is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who is a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
